Logistics Management of Centurion, which consists of the following sections: Receiving – which ensures items are correctly identified and the physical items corresponds with the documentation. They also ensure items are correctly packed according the packaging standards of Molapo, and routed to the Holding store once captured. Data capturing – which ensure the items are accurately captured onto Molapo’s BAAN system. Holding store – which ensures the items are issued to the repair sections on a FIFO principal to ensure the agreed TAT are met. Invoicing – which ensures items are invoiced according the official order once released by Molapo QA (PCR equipment) or Telkom QA (None PCR equipment). Other customers i.e. Marconi, Unisys and International client’s items are released and invoiced according their specific requirements. Packing and Despatching – which ensures items, are packed according to the Molapo packaging standards. Items are despatched to the various customers either by own transport or via couriers.Ensure that staff are, 100% utilized, performance manage, oversee and developed. 1.Financial Perspective – Manage the profitability of the Logistics section in Centurion.Contain the salary cost of the Logistic section in Centurion. Restrict costs to within budget pro rata to any decrease in the revenue and/or changes in product mix.2.Customer Perspective – Ensure that repaired product are returned to customer
