As well as speak to industry leaders to improve on methodology and ensure relevance• Work with management in preparation of project budget and schedule. • Plan, coordinate and execute assigned research projects• Monitor and control expenses within allotted budget. (Where necessary i.e. short term staff, long term, incentives, commissions, etc.)• Ensuring that the research team is educated with day to day business news and knowledge to remain ‘relevant’ • Investigating and doing ‘market research’ for management to determine whether “new projects” or old are viable• With general supervision, has independent responsibility for the implementation of assigned projects on an on high profile communications research tracking• Exemplary Project management skills – monitor study performance in terms of schedule, quality control and team expectations i.e. monthly, weekly KPI’s• Employ where necessary• Ensures data is collected and delivered accurately by effectively managing the data collection process on assigned studies• Improving processes within the research department • Informs the Senior Research Director of project’s progress and problems• Monitors project budgets and timelines; alerts SRD when project will go out of budget/timeline• Show less
