SENIOR TEACHERSt Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School, KarrinyupJanuary 2007 – PresentIn my current role as a Senior Teacher, I design, develop and deliver various courses including Year 12 ATAR Physical Education Studies and Year 7-10 Health & Physical Education. I am also the Coach and Coordinator of Year 7-12 IGSSA co-curricular sports, including tennis, volleyball, hockey, soccer, softball, netball, basketball and AFL, with the teams often achieving top 3 positions. For my teaching duties, I implement engaging learning/teaching activities using PE curriculum knowledge and reporting requirements. Supporting the development of students, I assess students’ skills whilst under high-pressured game situations and developed rubrics to monitor student progress. Throughout this role, I maintain a supportive, safe learning environment by setting clear objectives, addressing behavioural issues with compassion and following school policies and relevant legislation. Key Achievements:• Successfully coordinated 7 World Challenge International tours/expeditions of 8-32 students, across Vietnam, Laos and Botswana. 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020• Consistently drove recognition as to 10-15 performing schools in Year 12 ATAR Physical Education Studies over 15 years.• Effectively performed as Chief Market for SCSA Year 12 ATAR PES written exam (2007-Present), and SCSA hockey (2007-2019), providing consultant course review.

Very excited to join the team @ The Perth Pilates Studio as a casual studio Instructor. Historically one of the original and best studios in Perth with an exceptionally well-trained and passionate group of staff and clientelle.

As a qualified Pilates Instructor, I delivered private and semi-private Pilates instruction, designing and implementing programs for individuals with a range of pathologies, as well as group Pilates floor classes for up to 12 participants. This was a multi-faceted role where I performed induction, assessment and program development for clients, using various equipment, including the reformer, cadillac, high barrel, wunda chair, spine corrector and others. I also provided individual assessments of clients on their needs and developed programs to cater to their requirements. Focusing on the wellbeing of the clients, I maintained a safe and welcoming environment for all participants, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, policies and legislations within the scope of practice. With my communication skills, I engaged with class participants to encourage client retention, understand client’s goals and build rapport.

As a Personal Trainer, I handled multiple responsibilities across different organisations, as well as my own private practice. I provided personal training in diverse settings, including in a gym environment, and on different areas such as flexibility, fitness and Junior Tennis. In all these environments, I assessed clients’ physical capabilities, bodily strengths and weakness to be able to create customised programs and plans. My engagement capabilities enabled me to develop strong working relationships with clients to enhance client retention and provide physical and mental guidance to achieve goals. To support their goals, I monitored the physical condition of clients, maintaining focus on their health, safety and wellbeing at all times. I also ensured delivery of high-level customer service, assisting patrons and clients via spotting, responding to enquiries and advising on exercises and techniques.
