Provide technical support of center developed ancillary applications, in support of Clients and Technology Operations.Essential Job Duties:• Resolve complex technical and/or operational problems.• Develop/implement applications for Client requests.• Develop/implement applications in support of Technology Operations.• Conversion of existing applications to conform to security and operational requirements.• Provide support to internal associates regarding application use, navigation, reporting and other technical operations.• Discuss problems, answer questions, offer technical assistance and insure proper handling/follow-up with external and internal Clients.• Build an in-depth knowledge of developed applications, business acumen, and client focus to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).• Act as a SME resource to other associates in Bank Solutions.• Independent judgment and team participation is necessary.• Provide after hours on call support on a rotating basis.• Performs other duties as required.

Exercised knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies. Utilized strong background in architecture and technical standards, design and development tools, and understanding of shared software concepts. Successfully developed an Application Tracking Program (ATPi), the fifth major revision of custom software, a significant milestone in transitioning from a windows to web-based software product; Successfully led, designed and fully developed the Electronic Research Application (ERA), the main Automated Data entry process of entering/manipulating/transferring data into the SQL server relational database after exporting the raw data from the external source “proposalCentral” web service. Thereby fundamentally improving the entire process by greatly reducing the creation of duplicate records. Successfully performed all business intelligence analysis and data exploitation.Led the analysis and reconciliation of data and reporting projects and initiatives delivery.Planned and executed system testing.Recommended improvements to competitive business intelligence reports and interpretation of data by grants, regions, institutions, cycles and committees.Led design and development of Automated Data Consolidation processes to eliminate Person duplicate and Institution duplicate records in the ATP database/system;Led and designed the SSIS package to move data from ATP database to a destination with no transformations to support Research Department SSRS Reports on cancer.org; Led design and development of Automated Data Consolidation processes; Led and designed the SQL database migration process from old to new SQL database. • Lead the development and implementation of different types of SSRS Reports (Financial, Grant Analysis, etc.) which provide analysis of the Financial and Research data collected by the system• Provided recommendations for reporting improvements and enhancements• Created a SQL Report database and providing support for it to manage new web based reports• Gathered requirements from users for development/modifications and enhancements to existing Research Information System and performing the analysis and programming required to implement the requirements• Developed and maintained appropriate stored procedures/ad hoc data queries/custom functions/triggers/views/ and solved data related issues for business handling of data.
