As an integral member of Fenwick’s senior leadership team, my role is to identify key fashion and beauty trends and adopt a customer-centric mindset to maximise sales and positive brand visibility. I have leveraged my broad and extensive industry network to instigate and implement:• Major national brand promotions across nine stores • Exclusive product launches • Print and digital advertorials in the Telegraph • A sell-out beauty advent calendar • ‘Meet our Experts’ in-store events • Royal Ascot sponsorship. I have also ensured consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing communications campaign delivery across in-store POS, visual merchandise, online, targeted customer emails and social media.

I directed the re-design of Fenwick’s informational website and digital magazine. I also ran this key marketing and brand building tool on an ongoing basis; supervising external agencies, photographers and a freelance editorial team; selecting products; uploading information; and designing customer campaigns and incentives.In addition to enhancing brand visibility and maintaining consistent, focused messaging for this prestigious heritage brand, I boosted web traffic three-fold which, in turn, increased footfall into the store network. A particular highlight in this role was introducing digital and social media marketing to Fenwick with joint campaigns with SheerLuxe and social media influencers.

In this role, I led PR, advertising and media partnerships and created seasonal promotional campaigns. This involved extensive collaboration with the MD and other senior leaders, as well as across multiple sales and buying teams. Notable successes in this role included: • Generating an average of £2M worth of monthly press coverage through partnerships with targeted national press and major magazines and nurturing relationships with key fashion journalists and regional newspapers.• Developing highly successful joint advertising collaborations with major fashion brands.

This was an ideal launch pad to my career in fashion and beauty. As a member of a small team of two press officers running the busy Bond Street public relations department, I gained deep and broad experience of organising fashion shows and photo shoots.Most importantly, I built my extensive PR network and established trusted relationships with fashion journalists and editors, celebrity influencers, and fashion / beauty house representatives. I have leveraged this network throughout my career to facilitate multiple brand promotions and influential media coverage.
