Responsible for the creation and implementation of a detailed Quality Management System (QMS) for a start-up manufacturing company to develop and increase business in order to compete for work with attached nuclear requirements. The QMS is ASME quality standard NCA 3800 compliant and meets the process and documentation requirements of the nuclear standard 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and NQA-1. Provided process improvement recommendations that enabled the program development to be a smoother transition. Responsible for establishing goals, tracking the progress of the entire project and providing a weekly status report to the company President. Prepared training materials and qualification standards for employees. Responsible to perform audits of suppliers to confirm compliance to various quality standards. Maintained all customer documentation: contact information, purchase orders, and completed work orders.

Developed, managed and executed SSID Quality Assurance/Quality Control programs and procedures in each of the five major shops to ensure conformance and compliance to business segments: medical, pharmaceutical, DOE, ISO, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and DOE regulations and/or other specific customer requirements. This involved leading the various cross functional teams in executing quality programs.Represented SSID as the quality programs expert with many Nuclear Procurement Issues Committee (NUPIC) members who performed assessments of SSID Metrology for SONGS.
