For as long as I can remember, I have always been a passionate advocate for the preservation and conservation of this planet, and all of its many beautifully diverse components. It only made sense for me to take a deep dive into my passion and explore what it means to have a career in the conservation field. As a forestry major, my life's mission is to make an impact in reducing the massive deforestation that is occurring in today's day and age. My goal is to help people understand their impact on the environment and how we can move forward as one to achieve a common goal of reducing our emissions on earth. Some may call me a tree-hugger, and I would have to agree. You know what they say, hugging a tree increases your lifespan!
