Manager of Neighborhood Improvement and Housing Division. Programs included administration of affordable housing programs: First Time Homebuyer, Home Rehabilitation and Weatherization Loans,Below Market Rate Program, and other financial assistance to the development of new housing projects in partnership with housing developers. Office also manages Fed and State grants, such as Community Development Block Grant, HOME program and CalHOME funds and City Housing Redevelopment funds. Neighborhood Programs include Code Enforecement, Community funding and preparation of 5 yr Consolidated Plan and Housing Element.

Administered affordable housing programs including inclusionary, redevelopment, and various loan programs. Worked with several models of program administration including buyer selection, handling resales, setting affordable prices, and responding to foreclosures, bankruptcies and other threats to the ongoing affordability of affordable housing.
