-Served as a member of the Executive Management Team.-Collaborated with benefit broker to analyze employee insurance data to monitor costs and review and renewal of all benefit programs for employees.-Served on the retirement investment committee to monitor and review the Center's retirement plan. -Directed day to day operations of HR staff to include recruiting, payroll, records, and training.-Monitored salary budget and cost allocation to ensure salary accuracy for all units.-Managed salary schedule and job classification schedule to include FLSA status of all jobs.-Provided consultation to managers on employee issues to include hiring, employee relations, and performance related matters. -Provided back up to Chief HR Officer in all HR matters. -Promoted from Benefit Specialist/Assistant Director and continued duties as previously listed under this role.

-Administered the Center's benefit programs, to include new employee orientation, enrollment, explaining of benefits, annual enrollment and managing and auditing monthly billings.-Upgraded the record-keeping system to include personnel files and other HR records to Laserfische and maintained the HR intranet site.-Served as project manager for 2 separate Human Resource Information systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP and Datis e3) to include design of system, set up/maintenance of HR systems, data transfer and collaboration with finance and payroll and training employees.-Served as Center timekeeper which included management of leave program, budget/cost center profiles and review of bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees.-Administered the Center's Worker Compensation program.-Handled the Center's FMLA program and TX Workforce Commission responses, hearings and appeals.-Provided direct supervision to Administrative Assistant and back up supervisor to HR staff in the absence of the Chief HR Officer.-Promoted to Director, Human Resources adding additional duties as described above.

-Responsible for research and design of curriculum as well as providing instruction in courses such as Corporate Compliance, Safety, HIV/AIDS, First Aid, CPR, PMAB, SAMA, Supervisor Training, Sustainable Management, Change Management, Positive Performance, as well as specialized courses related to serving persons with mental illness, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities.-Served as the Credentialing Coordinator for professional staff credentials review and renewal.
