As a result, organisational culture remains negative and the environment toxic; employees are disengaged, burnt out, unmotivated, and unfulfilled. Managers and leaders are strained due to people not taking enough leadership, ineffective decision-making, employees leaving, and reduced innovation.This is a massive cost.Leadership must upgrade significantly and expand beyond established leadership approaches that tend to overshadow self-leadership.It’s imperative for people to remember that every one of us is a leader in our career path and job role, a leader of our wellbeing, even self-care, and a leader of our own lives.
