Two 24 hour shifts in the month, where the telephone service gets a notification about an animal from our local community. Based on the notification I decide to pick up animal that is ill, lost or injured and decide what action to take. This is dependent on the situation, the kind of animal and the possible ownership of the animal. I work with lots of local organisations, such as the pound of the animal ambulance, the vets, the bird refuge and the porcupine refuge to name a few. Naturally there's a paper trail that needs to be followed and there are meetings throughout the month to ensure good communications between ambulance chauffeurs and the telephone service.Also on the board of directors, assisting my director of ambulance services and organising the training of new and existing chauffeurs.

Responsible for the long term planning to create a natural flow of learning and nurturing for children in our care. Rostering early childhood educators to ensure all children are cared for, adhering to the regulations of child care such as the '4 eyes'-principle. Maintaining relationships with parent and staff, based on mutual respect and with the children in our care as our main priority. Managing new bookings, contracts and proposals for new parents.Bookkeeping, invoicing, tax and government liaisons and administrative tasks which can be challenging with flexible care and contracts as we offer these.
