I founded Spectrum Therapy Consultants in 2006, in a quest for autonomy to treat patients in a caring, empathetic, and compassionate manner. My intent was to hire, train, and specialize like-minded employees to successfully deliver top notch physical therapy services for patients in need of our services. Mentoring was the foundation for a clinical environment in which employees could be guided, yet independently practice their skill set to rehabilitate patients. I wanted to have the opportunity to treat patients, lead, teach, mentor, and do medical mission trips, therefore creating Spectrum Therapy was the only way to achieve my life of altruism and business. My relationship with patients, physicians, nurse practitioners, and physical therapy academic programs created credibility to our business that has grown to 7 outpatient locations and home health services. We just celebrated our 16 Year Anniversary and continue to grow.I am specialized in treating cancer patients, women's health, wound care, and generalized physical therapy. I work with patients of all ages with a variety of ailments, diagnoses, and surgeries. I work with a great team of physical therapists and physical therapy assistants that are committed to their patients and chosen vocation. The fundamental goal is to maximize patient's goals, recovery, and outcomes. My mission is to provide focus-driven patient care in an ethical and professional manner. Promptness and individualized attention to patient's needs is our priority. My vision is to transform lives because quality matters. I also worked closely with software developers to solve an industry pain point – prior authorizations. Developed clear business rules based on payer requirements and provided feedback during the testing and implementation phase. I created detailed specs for a reporting software which tracked types of Home Health visits by PT by Home Health agency. Worked closely with software developers to build, test and implement custom software which has now been utilized for over 15 years.I am passionate about bringing out the best in patients and my staff. I strive to provide opportunities and platforms to achieve greatness in everyone that is part of our business. My business accepts volunteer students that require hours for physical therapy school. Often students are hired as technicians and go on to become excellent therapist with many coming back full circle as graduate employees. I am most proud of our patients and employees who have made our services reputable.
