An accomplished, experienced Emmy Award-winning communication/media veteran with a deep comprehension of learning styles applicable in multiple higher education environments. I have been working as a full-time Visiting Lecturer/Adjunct Professor in the Communications Department of Flagler College since the fall of 2017 having completed my M.A. in Communications in the fall of 2017 as well. I was thrilled to accept the full-time faculty position of Flagler College's Visiting Lecturer in Communications, starting in the fall of 2018. At the same time, I also teach at least one course online each term, for Southern New Hampshire University. In addition to a passion for student success and engagement, I have experience and a high level of comfort with a variety of higher ed LMS programs including Canvas, Brightspace, Blackboard and Bongo.Working as a professor in media and communications is fulfilling a life-long dream to engage students in this interesting, important field and to create high levels of understanding that can be converted to successful collegiate and professional communication skills.
