I have a MSc in Psychology and I'm a member of BPS. I am trained to degree standard in Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Clinical Supervisor/Consultant for adults and adolescents/children. I have a BSc in Social work and I am a trained hypnotherapist. I am currently studying a Doctorate in counselling psychology at Roehampton University. I work in private practice where I see children, adolescents, and adults for a variety of issues, including trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety and anger issues. In addition I offer supervision to groups working with vulnerable client groups and provide training sessions for social worker and foster carers around attachment theory.

I provide a safe, confidential, regular time and space in which I will support the client to share, explore, understand and bring about change. My therapeutic approach is integrative and informed by a range of therapeutic theories including psychodynamic, person-centred, attachment theory and cognitive behavioural therapy. In addition I am a accredited EMDR therapist. EMDR is a proven treatment for trauma, but further research now shows that it can also be effectively used in treatment of attachment difficulties, anxiety, eating disorders and OCD. I believe in working relationally, which is a process that involves both the therapist and client working together with the intention to develop a secure and strong therapeutic relationship that provides the foundation from which personal growth and change can begin to occur. I adopt a holistic approach taking account all aspects of your life and I will tailor the sessions to fit you and your unique experiences. The pace and nature of the work will be guided by you.I offer both short and long term therapy.
