Sandra Gordon is skilled and experienced in the fields of marketing, advertising, the media and public relations. She launched her first business in 1986 and sold it to Primedia Limited in 1995. Primedia Publishing grew into a significant publisher of specialist magazines with over 65 print and online titles. After serving as Managing Director and as a main board Director for four years, she joined the film and television production company Sasani Limited, as Chief Executive Officer. In 2002, she launched Wag the Dog - specialist publishers of online and print titles, notably The Media, TheMediaOnline and Easy DIY- and conceptualised two influential award events - Women in The Media and The MOST Awards. Wag the Dog was sold to Tiso Blackstar (now Arena) in July 2019. In the same year she founded Stone Soup, a bespoke Public Relations company. In 2015 she formed the Iconic Group of companies, investing in start-ups in the broader marketing sector, and mentoring entrepreneurs.She served as a non-executive Director at MoneyWeb and as a Member of the National Film and Video Foundation Council. She has assisted with business turnarounds and is acknowledged as an influencer in the media and marketing space. Sandra has served on numerous media, advertising and marketing industry committees and judged well-known awards. Her experience and reputation as an entrepreneur and strategist, her business acumen, as well as executive positions held in the corporate sector, are invaluable in her role as Managing Director of Stone Soup.
