Sandra is a highly motivated, energetic, organized and dedicated licensed clinical social worker. She has proven skills in all aspects of professional social work in the behavioral health field. This includes: case management, psychosocial and interdisciplinary evaluations, assessments, surveys, audits and interviews, training, teaching, individual and group counseling, team leadership, behavior management planning, staffing, Medicaid regulations, QI audits and monitoring of initiatives and program development. Sandra began her work in the field as a registered music therapist concentrating on work in the inpatient psychiatric setting. This work took her to two large medical centers where she assisted with planning the inpatient unit from the ground up. As she transitioned to out patient work and has remained in this realm ever since. Her work in the outpatient behavioral health field has included supervisory roles in adult partial care, residential and homeless services, team development and recruitment, and children's services. Most recently, Sandra has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Mental Health Services for Youth and Families. Aside from her full time positions, Sandra has been a practicing clinician working with youth age 5 through adults of all ages. She utilizes a client centered and strength based approach where she partners with her client to work towards their behavioral wellness.
