OBJECTIVE: May pursue a part-time Medical Technologist job in the future. QUALIFICATIONSI am a Medical Technologist who stopped working in 1996 to raise my three young children, and may rejoin the workforce in the near future. I would be interested in working at a private outpatient testing facility or research laboratory. I have a background in emergency lab testing, outpatient laboratory testing, and blood banking. I have good experience in all areas of the lab except microbiology and Immunology. I received "high-excellent" competency on most of my evaluations throughout my career and am a very meticulous and hard-working individual. I am also a very fast learner who has a high degree of accuracy and would be willing to retrain in any department. I was well liked by my co-workers and superiors at my previous jobs and have no problem working with others. My dream has always been to work in a research facility doing specialized testing with varied responsibilities and opportunity for advancement. Ultimately, I would like to work in and learn about the field of Forensic Pathology. I currently have a small framing office in my home and love photography as a hobby. I dry mount, mat, and frame prints, posters, and clothing. I can scan and enlarge photos and then print them up to a size 18x24. I offer rock bottom prices to my friends and family as compared to retail facilities around town. My framing work is currently hanging in Little Tree Sushi Bar and Katana Steak House- both in downtown Royal Oak. I have also done photography work for friend's events to a limited extent.
