I have worked in the area of family law almost exclusively since my admission to the bar in 1997. I have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with individuals from varied backgrounds. I also have excellent written and oral communications skills. I am organized and detail-oriented. Prior to attending law school, I worked in the mental health and counseling field, where I developed the ability to connect on a very personal level with the clients I served. These skills have been very valuable to me in my family law practice. I am a self-starter who has run every aspect of my law practice, including daily administrative duties, drafting correspondence, drafting all legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients at mediation and in the courtroom. I have an excellent reputation with our local family court bench. I have the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities, skills I developed during law school while raising two young children. I am very proud of this accomplishment. I worked in a factory part time during the school year and full time every summer and school break from age fifteen (15) through twenty-two (22) when I completed my Masters' Degree.
