Also, work with Finance for updates on transfers from unproved to proved property on a quarterly basis. Work closely with Joint Interest Department on AFE issues and with Operations on coding issues for capital projects. Trouble shoot bridging issues between FMOG’s Coupa purchasing system and Excalibur. Also, trouble shoot any issues with ADP Open Invoice.

Served as key point person for Work Breakdown Structures analysis of capital projects. Handled joint venture audits for assigned wells by using JADE, open invoice, Jib Link and Wellview. Processed monthly drilling overhead for operated properties as well as, inventory variance reports for tracking materials stored in company yards.

Worked with joint interest accountant on authority for expenditures (AFEs), direct billing costs and DOIs for joint interest billing purposes. Processed bi-weekly check write. SANTA FE SNYDER CORPORATION, Houston, Texas, Supervisor, Accounts Payable, 1995-2000. Initiated and wrote departmental procedures after bringing accounts payable (A/P) in-house from outsourcing. Supervised, trained, motivated and evaluated both A/P professional and clerical staff. Handled month end and year end closings. Established and implemented A/P procedures. Worked closely with auditors to ensure company policies and procedures stayed continuously followed so A/P operated at highest level. Enhanced customer relations as company liaison for department. Devised overpayment tracking reports, resulting in the collection of approximately $1,000,000 of backlog for first year. Worked closely with treasury department for wire transfers, daily check runs and budgeting purposes.

Accountant, General Accounting, 1993-1995. Prepared reports and conducted research for various departments to ensure accurate financial information, analyzed administrative budget variances for all departments, reconciled various general ledger accounts and processed material transfers by applying CEPS to set price for controllable oilfield equipment for Joint Interest Billing purposes. Accountant, Gas Revenue, 1991-1993. Analyzed volumes of NGLs and recorded revenue from various pipelines. Processed accruals when plant statements were not available and handled reconciliations of numerous accounts. Managed variance analysis, gas balancing and regulatory forms for production and severance taxes to Texas Railroad Commission and worked with MMS accountant for reporting purposes. Collected $500,000 of old outstanding accounts receivable balances in first year.
