Sandra Henry is a Intranet/Web Developer at Family and Children's Services of the Waterloo Region. She possess expertise in css, microsoft sql server, javascript, web applications, html and 15 more skills. Colleagues describe her as "Sandra and I first met over ten years ago while we were finishing up our last few courses for our Programmer/Analyst diplomas. We instantly struck up a friendship and offered assistance to each other during the completion of the remaining few courses. Upon graduating, Sandra was kind enough to invite me to apply with her for a short term development contract to design, develop, and implement a client tracking software package for social workers within the Healing and Wellness Program of the OFIFC. I accepted the offer. We submitted a proposal, won the contract, and completed the project. During our partnership on this project Sandra and I worked very closely together. Sandra is goal-directed and driven, very organized, very creative and did a fantastic job in ensuring the success of the project. Sandra wrote code, designed screens, and worked on the reports. The software was used for a number of years and then upgraded in 2008. It was Sandra who took on the challenge of upgrading the software from a standalone system with online reporting capability to a fully client-server based system. I have followed Sandra’s work since this project and she continues to impress me in her determination to resolve development challenges and to learn new technologies. She is a highly skilled problem-solver and developer who has the ability to sort through and manage the details as well as keeping an eye to the big picture. In addition to her top-notch development skills, Sandra brings an artist’s eye to her work, which allows her to design practical as well as user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing GUIs.
