Development of complex ETL solutions. • Development of data warehouse to support management reporting requirements• Production support of ETL Processes using IBM DataStage• Production support of the Cognos 10 toolset to a customer base of 1000 employees.• Development of technical requirements and design documents for data warehousing projects.• Technical lead for development of Cognos reporting solution for CBMR (Consolidated Book Management Reporting) included ETL Process, data mart creation, OLAP cube development, Report Studio reports using relational and cube sources, and dashboard creation.Accomplishments:• Promoted to Lead BI Developer in 2011• Promoted to Senior Data Developer February 2010• Successfully lead ETL team converting 7 claims systems into 1. Mentored and lead team of 5 developers. Coordinated with QA testers to successfully resolve all defects prior to deployment. Project was developed on time and came in under budget. Project used AGILE methodology. • Successfully developed Specialty Claims ETL and reporting. Combined 100+ programs into a single reporting data mart.• Successfully developed CBMR reporting solution for QBE regional. System combined metrics from four brands into a single source for reporting. Currently the largest reporting solution used within QBE regional.• Successfully reduced the build time for the Executive Information System from 32 hours to 8 hours. Fully documented system process and procedures.• Successfully reduced the cube build times from 2 hours to 10 minutes by optimizing SQL and revised overall cube design. Reduced cube size from 600 MB to 50 MB.
