I help teach paramedic and basic skills to students in the lab. They include things like BLS, ACLS, ITLS, IV access, blood draws, EKGs, cardiac rhythms, medical assessments, trauma assessments, treating bleeding, wounds, and shock, and how to become successful entry level basics and paramedics once they finish their programs. I work the most often with the paramedic students.

I was a paramedic at OSU, which is a level one trauma center where I did a multitude of things including, but not limited to; triage, IV access, blood draws, EKGs, patient prioritizing and assessment, charting, cleaning, stocking, CPR, helping with many patient needs, patient comfort, customer service, daily code cart and emergency blood checks, taking patients to various places they need to go and assisting physicians and nurses with tasks and getting needed items.
