All patients require close observation for personal safety and/or the safety of their peers. I work closely with patients with mental health disorders and develop a positive rapport with each patient, which helps to ensure recovery toward more stable mental health and decrease repeat hospitalizations. I encourage patients to take part in the groups offered and then discuss among themselves as well as with staff concerning thoughts about treatment and groups.
