Managed and provided counsel, legal oversight and solutions-oriented guidance on all legal and commercial matters and major initiatives of the company. Served as a strategic legal adviser and managed the company’s day-to-day legal function, which served operations, safety, maintenance, facilities, planning, human resources, and regulatory. Directed the strategic development and execution of government relations, policy formulation and public affairs initiatives. Lead and implemented the company’s communication strategy, including media planning, community outreach, and all internal and external communications.
