Completed temporary assignment at Alere Inc. Scarborough, Maine. Production Operator and occasionally Line Leading in their new area called iNat. This is their new production area developed in 2013 using an electronic device to test for the flu, strep, and other illnesses.

Unload and prepare merchandise from the truck to the store floor or to back stock. Walk the floor to look for replenishment opportunities. Bring out the merchandise to fill the floor positively impacting merchandise presentation and store sales. Greets and assists customers in finding products for a positive customer experience. Change and/or add signs reflecting the brand and price for the advertised merchandise. Mark the new price for merchandise when it goes on clearance. Provide assistance at checkout when needed.

On temporary assignment to Alere Inc. Started as a material handler and then moved into production as a line leader in their new clean room production area to support a new flu kit product.

Planned several products within specific product groups from raw materials to finished product. Analyzed data such as work in progress, yield management, safety stock levels and customer demand to determine the requirements to launch product in the fabrication area. Monitored total workflow for all parts within the fabrication and assembly sites. This included interaction with production, engineering, logistics, quality control, purchasing and product line.
