Oversee the implementation of security systems lifecycle management for IT Operations (Task Force). Develop new IT processes and procedures; and ensure implementation, to improve system security reliability and performance. Conduct Information Assurance oversight by identifying information and systems security problems, trends and weaknesses. Analyze requirements, develop and provide comprehensive strategies for IT enterprise architecture. Identify where the IT infrastructure is effective and areas where additional efficiencies would be most beneficial, provide recommendations, alternatives and improvements. Effectively put plans into action to improve data quality and enable trend analysis to identify and investigate recurring problems leading to creative and cost effective solutions. Ensure technologies and methodologies related to security encryption and electronic communication meet Federal policies, requirements and regulations. Negotiate and influence stakeholders to arrive at solutions, including liaising and coordinating activities with other affiliated and partner organizations, in support of the agency’s mission and excellence in customer support. Work closely with the Change Management (CM) to perform continual improvement roadmap to proactively monitor and correlate all Enterprise Changes to the IT Service Delivery teams. Develop Problem Prescriptions for specific modifications and solutions to reduce security risks, and developed strategies for responding to future security challenges in important information security program areas. Apply Information Security methods and practices pertaining to Unclassified AND Classified information systems to ensure the effective integration of Information Assurance policies and practices with other departmental information systems programs, services and pertinent stakeholders.
