I am often descriped as someone who is dependable, pays attention to detail, quick at thinking on my feet and delivers excellent customer service. To begin my journey in human resources I began as a sales auditor for a major department store called Ames. Through my dedication, determination and leadership skills I had the opportunity to advance to the position of lead sales auditor. Myself and my team took pride in keeping the company in good standing and kept the books balanced by improving processes of daily and monthly sale entries. Through this position I taught and trained employees on procedures and made sure everyone functioned as a team. By possessing certain skills and mastering my position within the company I wanted to embark on a new challenge, gain more insight and become versatile in human resources, which lead me to take on an entry level position of payroll clerk. I have spent over 15 years working in human resources and have gained an abundance of knowledge and experience to advance in my career which has lead me to a position as a payroll administartor. Over the years I have become an expert at payroll which includes making sure all information within the system is up to accordance with the company. My experience and skills has also allowed me to take on extra tasks which is not limited too new hire orientation. I am able to answer any and all question regarding 401K, taxes, benefits. and I contributed to the implementation of the changing of payroll systems. I am confident in the skills and knowledge I possess and I beleieve that what I bring to the table will continue to allow my company thrive.
