Working under IT Concepts for the Social Security Administration (SSA) at the Business Intelligence Competency Center- building a culture of data analytics and the use of BI tools throughout the agency.

Working closely with leadership team to support the HBOSC Contract. This program implements and operates the EHR Incentive Program Information Center (EIPIC) to answer inquiries about the Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs. Main responsibilities include business process analysis, reporting requirements gathering,design and implementation of data management/data quality solutions using business intelligence techniques and tools.

Worked as Celerity consultant for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). Heavily involved in the requirements gathering, analysis and development of business intelligence solutions for the Market and Membership business areas.

Worked on a set of analytical reports for MGH’s call center; including graphical/dashboard trend reports to support the call center’s management for patient registration and referral. Heavily involved in the design and development of metrics and reports (prompted reports, trend reports, drill-through reports and graphs) for medical practice improvement using source data from the hospital’s IDX system. Assisted in the development of relational and multi-dimensional reports for Finance, Billing and Budgeting. Development environment includes Cognos 8.2, 8.4 BI tools and MS SQL Server 2005.

Cognos Sustaining Analyst: Manage development and change requests for the Finance Transformation Project which included over 150 Cognos reports and cubes. Worked with business users and technical staff to analyze Cognos and data warehouse related issues, document solutions and coordinate work efforts. Followed strict documentation and archival guidelines for SOX compliance.

06/06—05/07, Functional BI Analyst (Enterprise Business Intelligence Group) : Managed business intelligence projects as part of the enterprise business intelligence and reporting group. Worked directly with business unit executives to present the new enterprise business intelligence vision and demo the newly acquired Cognos 8 suite of BI and reporting tools. Worked closely with the Home Construction Lending and Home Builder Divisions to analyze their existing reporting situation and propose solutions to help them consolidate their data sources and standardize their reporting. Worked on the dimensional design and implementation of a portfolio management data mart for the Home Builder’s Division using MS SQL Server 2005. The project included the development of a Cognos 8 Framework Manager metadata layer to be used by business analysts through Cognos 8 Query Studio for ad hoc querying. Cognos 8 Report Studio used for the development of standard reports. 01/04—05/06, Senior Reporting Analyst: As part of the CRM (Costumer Relationship Management) team worked with the bank’s business units to determine their reporting needs as a result of customized Siebel system interfaces created for their specific needs. Developed multiple executive as well as sales force reports in Cognos Impromptu/Upfront with extensive use of prompts and drill-down functionality. Custumized reporting interfaces using MS SharePoint Portal. Developed stored procedures and specialized data structures to support complex reporting. Collaborated with other CRM/Siebel developers on systems analysis/design, data validation and interface testing.
