I have been in the transportation industry now for over 21 yrs. I have done almost every position that a trucking company has starting out as a night time billing clerk at the age of 18. From there I went onto customer service which is answering calls, scheduling pickups and deliveries, doing daily followups on shipments to ensure freight was picked up and delivered. By my 6th year in the business I started doing local dispatching within Ontario which then within 6 months changed to dispatching within all of Canada. In my 10 yr of working in the transportation industry I started doing USA dispatching as well as working on air freight. During this period I became very interested in the air freight part and started to also learn about ocean freight. After a few months I then picked up on learning about Canada and USA customs. After 11 yrs of knowing all I did, I decided with my husband to open my own business Kass Cargo International! I am very passionate about working in the transportation industry knowing that I am apart of helping companies ship and receive their orders on a daily basis
