I have worked as a family lawyer and mediator since the mid 1990s and completed my collaborative training in 2006. I am a member of Resolution which is a group of independent family lawyers who are all committed to easing the pain and financial cost of family breakdown.I provide my clients with sensible and practical legal advice, working with them to achieve structured settlements which are tailored to meet future needs.I am sensitive to the difficult emotions often experienced both during and following a a relationship breakdown. I am aware of the impact that separation can have on children and on other members of the family. I believe that agreements reached together outside of the court proceedings can reduce some of the stress and uncertainty, empowering and enabling couples to make their own decisions about their futures. I encourage the use of processes such as mediation and collaborative law to achieve this. Where these process are not appropriate I provide advice, guidance and and representation throughout the traditional court process.Specialities: I specialise in all areas of work concerning separation whether this is after marriage or living together. This includes divorce, financial matters and arrangements for the children. I have a particular interest in advising couples who have lived together outside of marriage. I am also experienced in preparing pre nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
