Coming of Age is a nationally acclaimed initiative offering two signature workshops: Explore Your Future and Capturing the Energy. Explore Your Future is designed to empower people age 50+ to create a plan for their next phase of life which is filled with passion and purpose and is personally meaningful and rewarding. "What WILL you do with your one wonderful and unique life?" Capturing the Energy (of people age 50+) is a dynamic workshop for Executive Directors, Volunteer Managers and Program Directors who are seeking to successfully recruit, train and retain midlife and older adult volunteers. "78 million Boomers across the country are one of the most under-tapped and valuable resources in every community." The research is clear. People who remain active, engaged in the life of their community and in ongoing learning experiences live longer, happier and healthier lives. People who do not have a workable plan for their "one unique and precious life" often suffer disastrous consequences. This is why Coming of Age can literally be a "lifesaver!"
