Other duties include:o Management of a $25m to $30m FBT provision account including approving monthly FBT accruals and provision of FBT plan figures.o Review of FBT systems to ensure correct reporting.o Establishment of internal processes and procedures to capture FBT data.o Subject matter expert for numerous projects and initiatives involving FBT.o Identification and documentation of FBT processes to be off-shored.Key Achievementso Obtaining FBT refunds of over $50m and continued annual savings of between $10m and $20m arising from the preparation and lodgement of successful objections to exempt concessional staff lending from FBT. o Responsible for FBT savings of approx $6m in 2010 resulting from improvements to year end FBT processes to identify optimal applications of available FBT exemptions. o Assisted external provider to create and implement a tailored FBT reporting package known as PTFBT and responsible for the maintenance of this program to ensure it remains accurate and up-to-date.o Working with internal clients to improve FBT reporting systems and developing strong relationships with these clients to achieve major improvements and efficiencies in FBT data collection.
