I will continue my work supporting business partners and connect employers with grant-supported and community resources within the 11-county regional GEM project. The GEM $52 million grant under the Detroit Regional Partnership is funded by the Build Back Better initiative to help our region adapt to the rapidly changing mobility industry.

Plan, recruit and coordinate all aspects of AM-Catalyst Grant for Robotics and Automation. Provide training for unemployed individuals to gain full-time employment in the manufacturing industry. Create training solutions for businesses to upskill their current workforce and connect them to grant resources such as Going Pro Talent Fund. Represent Schoolcraft at chamber events and outreach to the community. Current focus is on Workforce Development, Smart Automation and Robotics.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the College with the Michigan Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing (M-CAM) grant. Establish and maintain relationships with staff, instructors, partner colleges, workforce agencies and business community to facilitate the delivery of programs. Write monthly and quarterly reports to document progress on grant deliverable, as well as monthly reports to the College leadership recapping M-CAM success stories.Manage and implement education and training planning process, program recruitment and promotion. Work with team to perform degree audits for participants which assists with certificate or degree completion, and notify students of stackable credentials. Lead the Machining Work Group with the project leads and faculty from the eight consortium colleges to complete alignment for Machining courses to national credentials and facilitate work for articulation agreement signing in September 2016.

Provide technical support for Time and Attendance system, act as system administrator granting user account privileges, training new supervisors and users on the software. Created Payroll Pointers Newsletter to feature different features of the Attendance Enterprise software. Act as first line support for our time clocks on campus, created reference manuals for troubleshooting with our Information Services staff.Act as compliance liaison with Human Resources for Affordable Care Act provisions. Created strategy by working with IT to pull hours worked data from HRIS and Time and Attendance system for all college personnel into spreadsheets to analyze employees that may need benefit offers.Reconcile monthly benefit invoices to HRIS cost records and work with benefits manager for resolution on discrepancies.Administer college purchasing card program, maintaining all records and giving orientations to all new card holders about acceptable usage policies.

Implemented software roll out to Farmington Hills location by training departments in necessary personal computer software.

Taught courses in Microsoft Office to Oakland County employees in a classroom setting.

Worked as a contract employee for Ford Motor Company as a Change Control Analyst comparing re-manufactured parts bill of material to production parts using the CMMS software system.Trained staff to use Corporate Procurement and Receiving System (CPARS90) in a classroom setting.Overhauled training materials to allow for ordering through the reproduction department which resulted in tremendous time savings for training staff.Performed classroom training to key users of the CMMS software system.

Introduced tax law database, CCH ACCESS, to customer base of attorneys by performing demonstrations and making sales presentations. Conducted training sessions for small groups of users and installed software.
