I have experience of working on a wide range of strategic marketing projects across a number of Spirit brands with both Whyte & Mackay (Dalmore, Jura, Whyte & Mackay etc) and Ian Macleod (Edinburgh Gin, Glengoyne).

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, I was responsible for the planning and execution of a number of strategic global brand projects including brand positioning and proposition development, integrated brand planning process, portfolio strategy and advertising development. I also led the Consumer Insight and Customer Marketing teams during this time.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and a member of the Executive Management Committee, I had specific accountability for the global marketing strategy and programme for the company's brand portfolio which included Tennent's Lager and Magners Cider. This programme was delivered through 5 distinct marketing teams working across the UK and Ireland.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Tennent's Caledonian Breweries, I was responsible for the overall marketing programme in Scotland for the C&C portfolio of brands.

Reporting to the UK and Ireland Marketing Director, I led a team of 14 Insight, Sponsorship, Media and PR managers across the portfolio of ABInbev brands (Stella Artois, Budweiser, Tennent's, Becks). This included leading a number of strategic marketing projects (consumer brand positioning process; portfolio development; advertising and innovation research; media planning) as well as overseeing the company's extensive PR and Sponsorship programmes.

Reporting the the UK and Ireland Marketing Director, I led a team of 21 brand managers and administrators in Scotland and Ireland in the development and delivery of marketing programmes for Tennent's, Stella Artois and Becks.

Reporting to the Brand Portfolio Director, I led a team of 15 in delivering an innovative and multi award winning marketing programme for the Tennent's brands.
