In June 2015, I was invited to join Telstra's NBN Delivery team to work with their various stakeholders (internal and external) to develop and execute project communication plans for the company's Fibre to the Node (FTTN) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) asset transfer to NBN Co. Telstra's NBN Delivery team involved in the project (the first asset transfer to NBN Co.) received a Chief Operations Officer Award for exceptional achievement in November 2015.Prior to this, I was a member of Telstra's Communications team working as a Senior Communications Advisor, delivering an internal communications program aimed at improving leadership communications and employee engagement for their Retail/ Consumer, Business Customer Sales & Service line of business. In the years leading up to the above-mentioned roles, I worked as a Senior Communications Advisor/ Internal Communications Advisor within Telstra's Operations team. My main focus during my time with this team was to connect with their field workforce (communication technicians and network construction teams) and contact centre employees to ensure relevant, engaging communications were delivered at the right time, in the right way.

I assisted with documenting Cape York Space Agency's submission to the Queensland Government to allow CYSA to launch rockets from Cape York. During my time in the role I organised meetings with high-profile government officials such as Sir Lew Edwards, Wayne Goss, and the Mayor of Brisbane at the time, Sally Anne Atkinson. Event management included assisting at various media events. Meeting Buzz Aldrin, at one of these, remains a career highlight.
