I am a Senior Education Officer with the NSW Department of Education leading the STEM Partnerships and Equity programs within the department’s Curriculum Secondary Learners directorate. I have been a Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry teacher and Head Teacher in NSW public girls’ high schools for over 15 years, and have developed and led a variety of highly successful STEM, numeracy and Initial Teacher Education programs with tertiary partnerships.Prior to re-training as a teacher, I worked with global telecommunications companies (BT and Concert) in IT project management and IT service delivery across Asia Pacific and Europe. I have a passion for inclusion, excellence and mentoring in STEM education and strongly support the evidence-based recommendations of the Diversity in STEM Review.
