Geology is more than a career to me—it's a lifelong passion. From a young age, I was captivated by the raw power and beauty of volcanoes, which ignited my journey into this field. With over eight years of experience in geological exploration and resource assessment, I have developed a deep understanding of the Earth’s processes, and I am excited to apply my skills to a career in environmental science.I’ve had the privilege of leading a soil sampling campaign, managing the project from its early stages through to drilling. My expertise lies in project management, sampling, and data analysis. Additionally, I am skilled in geological mapping, core logging, and using ArcGIS, all of which have been essential in achieving the broader objectives of these projects.During my career break, I pursued an Environmental Geology Graduate Certificate from the University of Illinois, where I gained expertise in environmental compliance, groundwater management and remediation, contaminant fate and transport, environmental site assessments, and more. This knowledge enhances my geological background and strengthens my ability to tackle environmental challenges. Now, as I complete my Graduate Certificate, I am eager to contribute my geological expertise to the environmental services sector.I am passionate about leveraging geology as a tool in the fight for environmental protection.
