Borough Policing

Managing a team of 25 officers tasked with the policing of a busy London Borough, I oversaw the response to critical incidents and worked closely within the community. I undertook custody management responsibilities, consistently demonstrating the ability to think calmly in high tension environments whilst remaining cognisant of the requirements of all legal and moral demands.

Firearms Command

I was tasked with providing armed support for planned and spontaneous incidents across London. I brought a measured and considered approach to this challenging armed role with the incumbent considerations and heightened responsibility this brings. This role demanded the ability quickly and accurately to assess situations in response to, often fast moving, high level threat. During this time, I was involved in armed sieges, major shooting incidents and counter terrorism operations.

Borough Policing

Delivering a 24/7 policing response, I managed the most demanding situations and demonstrated the ability to connect successfully with a diverse range of people. I consistently brought a thoughtful and considered approach, managing a broad range of issues effectively.

Like all police officers, I began my service as a constable. I worked my way steadily through a range of roles affording me a strong foundation of enquiry, observation and personal interaction.
