I have a deep and firm understanding of the pain and shame that is associated with sexual abuse because I myself am a survivor. As a child, I was groomed and molested by my father and for many years I felt silenced, ashamed, and afraid. Through this pain, I was able to eventually rise up and became an advocate for those women who have experienced this in their life. Several years ago I turned my story into a novel in the hopes of helping other women feel seen, heard, and loved through my experiences. Today, I speak publically delivering keynote presentations to audiences around the country with the goal of spreading awareness and providing hope for survivors. I am also a Master Certified Life Coach and work with clients in individual and group sessions to help them overcome their traumas to live more fulfilled and purposeful lives. Despite our past, I deeply believe in every woman; respecting their voice and solitude and observing each as a miracle who is replete with power!Published author of the acclaimed novels, "Sandarella: Where Hope and Mercy Meet" and "Love on a Plate: Recipes for Serving Love." As a CASA Court Appointed Special Advocate, I also help children to navigate the difficulties of the juvenile court system; investigating and reporting back to the court about the needs of an individual child.If you are a survivor, there is hope and it starts by asking for help from someone who understands your story on a deep level.
