Current• Grant and Fund Administration for rail projects - Responsible for quarterly and annual milestone progress reporting and financial reporting for federal, state, and local fund sources such as FTA 5337, FTA 5307, LCTOP, MSRC, PTMISEA, SGR, STA, and LTF. Additional responsibilities include completion of project funding allocation requests and grant closeout reports upon completion of projects. Responsible for internal coordination with project controls to ensure proper reimbursement of costs from multiple funding sources for different project phases.• Participate and lead the development and execution of the Short Range Transit Plan for FY 2024/25 – 2028/29. This requires collaboration with multiple departments to provide updates on agency wide programs, services, and projects. Responsible for the completion of funding requests for FY2024/25 for multiple projects including rail operations and capital and completion of forecasts for funding requests through FY 2028/29.• Lead staff in the completion of the National Transit Database (NTD) annual reporting for rail station facilities and the vanpool program.• Complete the recruitment of members for the Citizens and Specialized Transit Advisory Committee (CSTAC). This required community outreach efforts through various means such as social media, printed ads, and in person community organizations. • Represent the Commission at regional transportation advisory meetings and provide updates on capital projects, funding opportunities, and community events.• Manage the rail safety marketing plan and community outreach efforts throughout the region which includes presentation at local schools, organizations, and community events.
