Sandra is active in the field of international education, and her practice has lead her to develop expertise in policy formation, immigration policy, data analysis and data visualization. She is strong in both qualitative and quantitative methods and her research focuses on the intersections between immigration and education policy spheres, with a particular interest in international student pathways. She is a Queen Elizabeth Golden Jubilee Medal recipient, former member of the CBIE Board of Directors and NAFSA Leadership Circle. She holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies, a Masters Degree in Education and Bachelor’s degree in Business.
