I recently completed a two-year contract working as a Contact Tracer/Case Investigator with Staffing Solutions Organization LLC, a subsidiary of Public Consulting Group. In this fully remote position, tracers were required to adapt to the constant changes in information, education and guidance. Time management, organization and problem-solving skills were imperative in this type of work. As a public health representative during this crisis, educating the public and providing the support and empathy needed was crucial.In my career as a New York State employee, I have extensive experience in providing administrative support to C-level administrators and executives, providing management of the day to day operations of the office; act as liaison to the Director in his absence and refer urgent matters to District Deputies; triage incoming communication to the Director and manage timely responses for information and direction; establish expectations for follow-up and track the status via communication with District offices; provide guidance and facilitate responses to requests for information from Central Office leadership involving contracts, policy, protocol, operations, data sets, staffing, the Front Door, Commissioner Correspondence and special assignments; assist the Deputy Director to the Associate Commissioner of Regional Operations, Regional Director and Leadership staff with special projects as assigned; schedule and coordinate meetings as requested by the Director; manage his calendar and arrange and process his travel.
