l have had the pleasure of editing literary and genre fiction for adults and children, as well as trade nonfiction and corporate and academic publications, for nearly thirty years. Clients I’ve worked with include Bloomsbury; Little, Brown; Random House BFYR; Soho; Chicago Review; Macmillan; and F+W. I also enjoy working one-on-one with independent authors preparing to submit work to conventional publishers or pursuing self-publication. In addition to my editorial work and writing, I teach English, creative writing, and editing at the university level.I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts and QM certification in online teaching, and I've published several pieces of short fiction, articles, and essays.
