Sets organizational leadership and line management for globally diverse group of staff, planning and optimization of those resources, assigned budget, talent retention, objective setting and performance follow-up. Key contributor to strategic initiatives as part of broader functional leadership team.

Leading a cross -functional global Clinical Operations team to collaborate with Patient Centricity to co-create a focused patient and site centric strategy. Lead integration of patient and site perspectives in to our protocols, right from early design planning across to the collation and communication of trial results. The outcome is for AZ studies to be simpler for patients and sites to allow faster delivery of our studies. Also, to understand from site what is important to improve clinical trial experience and develop focused action plan to address site gaps.

Providing excellence in business planning and control within the Americas Region: Manage overall Regional and Site Management & Monitoring operational performance by applying a full understanding of internal and external global issues to drive individual country/cluster performance.
