Interests are in vegetable gardening, canning the vegetables into many foods, and teaching people vegetable gardening. I have been volunteering as a lead vegetable gardener at Backyard Produce Project in Poway, CA. We grow foods to supplement needy families diet in the community. Interests also include cooking, and writing a cookbook with pages of receipes from relatives. I have been collecting recipes for over forty years. I almost completed a degree in culinary arts from Monterey Peninsula College. My speciality at the culinary school was desserts and pastries. When I was in high school I owned a horse and rode bare back in the hills of Olivehain, CA in the 60's and 70's.
