Heavily recruited at the local university to educate undergraduate nursing students in courses that qualify for the nutrition minor. • Creates an online learning environment that contributes to the students’ academic growth by providing clear explanation of assignments, conducting appropriate evaluations of student performance, and assigns grades based upon results of evaluations and grading policy. • Regularly reviews textbooks and materials that are appropriate and based on current evidence-based nutrition information.

Brought into the Health Promotion role to provide comprehensive nutrition prevention programs, coaching and counseling to the installation community. • Enhances military members’ readiness by providing individual consultations and evidenced-based nutrition to aid in behavior change. Courses include performance nutrition, weight management, pregnancy and post-partum nutrition and cooking classes. • Oversees military nutrition environment assessment and reports action plan to leadership for improvements in healthy eating establishments on the installation. • Collaborates with installation agencies to enhance the installation nutrition environment through event partnerships and education classes.
