As Production Manager of the Intelligence practice, I worked closely with subject matter experts to produce short and long-form reports, blog posts, surveys, presentations and more. Over time I progressed from being solely responsible for editorial, layout and graphics services for all Intelligence content to managing a full production team, developing our practice’s editorial calendar, creating style guides, and maintaining a suite of administrative and marketing materials. I also participated in cross-functional research efforts in support of Uptime’s overall mission.

451 Research is a leading syndicated research, advisory and professional services firm. I served as Managing Editor of the Datacenter Technologies and Eco-Efficient IT practice and helped facilitate cross-organizational collaboration and content development within The 451 Group's divisions. I also participated in long-term research and consulting projects and reported on industry trends.

Uptime Institute's Green Enterprise IT (GEIT) Awards recognized projects, ideas and products that significantly improve energy productivity and resource use in IT. The Awards were open to applicants in all countries and were carefully judged by a committee of independent experts in a double-blind review process. I was responsible for program development; marketing and communications; managing the application and judging processes; producing and publishing case briefs; delivery of honoree benefits; and coordinating case study presentations at our annual Symposium.It was my honor to serve as Program Manager from 2011-2013. After the 2013 Awards, the GEIT Awards program was retired and the Institute inaugurated the Brill Awards for Efficient IT, a new award in honor of its Founder, the late Ken Brill.

Uptime Institute is a research, education, and consulting organization focused on improving data center performance and efficiency through collaboration and innovation. As a core team member for our annual international Symposium, I was involved in program development; marketing and communications; website development and management; underwriter relations; speaker coordination; development and delivery of the program guide and conference proceedings; and logistics coordination for a multi-day, multi-track event that often involved >100 sessions and >150 speakers.

Crocker Ltd. and its sister company, Crocker & Associates, provides historic preservation contracting and consulting services throughout the southwestern United States. I was responsible for business development and project management for all federal, state and municipal contracts and large privately funded contracts. Several of the projects I managed received state and national awards, including two National Trust for Historic Preservation awards.

The American Naturalist is the oldest scholarly journal of ecology and evolutionary biology in North America. As Managing Editor, I was responsible for the daily management of the journal including the peer review, editorial and production processes. I also served as liaison for all stakeholders: the journal office, the Editor, the sponsoring organization, the publisher, and an international body of associate editors, authors, readers, and peer reviewers.
