Creativity has always been an important part of my life. Taking images from inside my head and putting them on paper was always something of an outlet for me, so it’s only natural that architecture would be my career of choice. Now, I’m privileged to take the ideas and dreams my clients share with me, make them a reality, and blow them away with the end result. And therein lies my greatest motivation: I want to create a “wow” factor in everything I do. Whenever a guest walks into a hotel or resort I designed, I want their jaw to drop. I want everything I contribute to the world to be memorable and beautiful, weaving my own style and cutting-edge concepts into every project. This passion for creative thinking and dreaming led me to a career in architecture, a profession I adore. Today, as a principal at FCS Architects, I lead the design process end-to-end for multiple high-end hospitality projects across the globe. Each project has been an opportunity for me help create breathtaking destinations, while also being able to sharpen my design, leadership, and negotiation skills.I find true joy in bringing innovative ideas to life, designing high-end hospitality destinations that make people say, “Wow.” For over 20 years now, I’ve had the pleasure of pairing my passion with my talents while working on design projects all over the world, honing my design skills and people skills, eventually becoming a principal at FCS at age 35. Since then, I’ve overseen dozens of high-end hospitality projects, worked with some phenomenal teams and created some beautiful destinations — and I’ve loved every minute of it.
