The Jonge Klimaatagenda (Youth Climate Agenda) is the vision document of the Jonge Klimaatbeweging (Youth Climate Movement). The agenda describes what Dutch youth believe our future should look like, a vision which is subsequently politically communicated. As theme manager, I am the youth expert on the topic of mobility, and collect the opinions of multiple youth organisations. Additionally, I am partially responsible for writing the Youth Climate Agenda 3.0, the updated vision document for 2022.

When working with degraded DNA from burned skeletal material, extraction is often unsuccesful because there is too little DNA left within the sample. To prevent using significant resources on such samples, pre-screening methods allow for a quick and (preferably) easy assessment of the levels of DNA in bones prior to extraction. Within this internship, I systematically searched through existing literature to find existing pre-screening methods. All identified methods were assessed on their applicability to large scale forensic missing persons context, where DNA needs to be extracted from extensively burned human remains.
