My professional experience is project coordination (campaigner), fundraising (acquisition) and event management for non profit organizations. I coordinate all the fundraising events and campaigns for Terre des Hommes. Main goals are lead generation, generating funds and awareness. The target group is always the individual donors in the Netherlands but also primary schools and organizations who joint the events. I always keep a close eye on the planning and the budget and keep a helicopter view on the activities. When I started in 2006 I was responsible for all the direct marketing and telemarketing activities for Simavi (non profit organization) for the individual donors. I also organise special fundraising events like Walking for Water. Always trying to find a new way of getting as much donations as possible. I am also the accountmanager for the Dutch Ambassadors of Simavi. Since beginning of 2014 I am the event manager of Simavi. Walking for Water is the main event but I also designed a new event Hike for Health in Nepal which we tested in 2019 and a roll out in 2020 with 4 hikes. Organizing and coordinating (fundraising) events and campaigns are my specialty and I love it.
